QueboStream was born in Montreal in 2022 with a single mission: prove that Quebec households deserve premium streaming without the cable monopoly markup. Three years and 3,400+ subscribers later, we're still on that mission.

QueboStream started when two Montreal-based engineers — tired of paying $150/month to Vidéotron for a basic cable lineup — built their own IPTV gateway in a Côte-des-Neiges apartment. They wanted RDS in 4K, every Habs playoff game, the full French-Canadian catalog, and the ability to watch on any screen in the house.
What started as a personal project became a service when friends, then friends-of-friends, asked to be added. By summer 2023 we had 200 households. By the end of 2024, over 2,000. Today QueboStream serves 3,400+ Quebec subscribers across every region of the province — Montreal, Quebec City, Laval, Gatineau, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières, Saguenay and beyond.
